Prior to relocating to Europe, Mr. Epstein practiced business litigation with Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison and clerked for the US District Court for the Southern District of California.

Matt Roberts

Matt is the Founder of Better Credits, Inc. which focuses on helping companies scope, calculate, document and defend their R&D tax credits. Matt spent the first 12 years of his career in the “big 4” helping companies scope, document, calculate and defend their R&D tax credits. Matt left the big 4 to focus on serving the startup and middle market - consulting with taxpayers all over the U.S., including serving as the lead tax technical expert for a large Series A venture-backed startup offering R&D services to taxpayers primarily in the tech startup industry. Matt continues to be an R&D tax credit thought leader and also serves as Advisor to several companies working in the R&D tax credit space.

Namita Thakker

Namita works on transactional business matters, helping startups and small businesses with various legal needs, including corporate governance and regulatory compliance, drafting and negotiating contracts, and intellectual property licenses. She has been practicing for 10 years, focused on helping businesses mitigate legal risk. Namita also serves on the board of San Diego-based nonprofit, ProduceGood, which redirects produce that would otherwise be wasted to feeding partners that deliver the produce to the table of someone in need.
