She keeps current on the academic and commercial research and drug discovery efforts in this rapidly changing field, such as the development of medicines for PTSD and treatment-resistant depression. Karen assists psychedelics clients in navigating and complying with complex regulatory issues and protecting and commercializing intellectual property. She has a particular focus on helping clients forecast and take steps to protect against potential claims for product liability.

As a dedicated problem solver and advisor on regulatory compliance, Kimberly is passionate about guiding innovators and medical professionals through the complexities of bringing groundbreaking therapies to market. Cassandra Vieten, PhD is Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UC San Diego. She is co-founder and Psychology Director at the UCSD Center for Psychedelic Research, Director of the Center for Mindfulness, and Director of Research at the Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination. She is a licensed clinical psychologist, mind-body medicine researcher, author, and internationally recognized keynote speaker and workshop leader.
Serena Wu is a partner of Radicle Law LLP, a law firm providing legal and business solutions to diverse clients who are changemakers in their industries. She is passionate about psychedelics and social entrepreneurship. She has advised professionals in the psychedelic space on the legal boundaries of psychedelic assisted therapy, corporate practice of medicine laws, informed consents, risk and liability mitigation, and religious freedom protections. She has also advised on DAOs, NFTs and their related securities issues. A Harvard Law graduate, she is licensed to practice law in CA and NY.
Anusha Kakani is a startup and social impact attorney and Harvard Law School alum, who co-founded Radicle Law on a mission to use law for social good. Dr. Lynn Marie Morski is the president of the Psychedelic Medicine Association and host of the Psychedelic Medicine Podcast. She sits on the advisory boards of Psychedelics Today, Cybin, VETS, Inc. (Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions), the Oxenberg Foundation, and the Ketamine Task Force. Dr. Morski is a Mayo Clinic-trained physician in family medicine and sports medicine, as well as an attorney and former adjunct law professor.
Kaitlin Roberson is the co-founder and CEO of Cacti Therapeutics, a psychedelic-inspired biotech company developing novel chronic pain and trauma therapies. She moved in this direction after working in the humanitarian field with populations disproportionately affected by trauma and without equitable access to quality care. She has an Ed.M from Harvard University in Human Development and Psychology with an emphasis on childhood adversity and trauma care for refugees. In Kait's spare time, she trains for triathlons, boxes, chases 4 kids and 4 pets around, and volunteers with various NGOs. Her passion is mobilizing people to find community-based solutions to our challenges and her dream is that one day access to trauma healing is available to all.
Jeffery is the founder and CEO of startup IPROTEAN, an ed-tech startup that provides virtual board education for hospitals and health systems. The company was founded in '2018 and was acquired last summer. Jeffery is now leading the division with the acquiring company, Veralon, a national healthcare consulting management firm. Jeffery has founded multiple startups here in San Diego, and remains active in the startup community as investor and advisor. He has participated as business judge at dozens of pitch competitions over the years, including competitions at UCSD, San Diego State University, and USD.
Synthetic Biologist, exited biotech entrepreneur, and currently working in finance to help translate the best in deep biotech with financing and advisory services. Brendan was initially hired to diligence the wave of psychedelics companies going public in early 2021 and support financing for those with strong scientific data and commercial potential such as Mindset, Cybin, Bright Minds, and Reunion. He has diligenced in depth the vast majority of companies in the psychedelic space using a self-developed framework for scientific, clinical, regulatory, IP and commercial value. More generally, he has a specialist role at the investment bank Stifel Canada where he conducts technical due diligence, sources opportunities, and provides strategic advisory for companies in any area touching on biotechnology.

He primarily focuses on the potential of the people manifesting the projects he invests in. Richard Lin is the founder of Explora BioLabs, a leading biotech facility-as-a-service company. After bootstrapping its startup and growing the company to seven facilities entirely by organic growth, he led a successful exit and sold the company to the Seabright Fund led by Sandy Paige in mid-2018. Explora's strong growth and reputation eventually led to its acquisition by Charles River Lab in April 2022 for $295M. Richard is passionate about helping innovative entrepreneurs find their success. He currently serves as a board member or an advisor for several emerging companies, including BioXceed, VisiCell and PhenoVista. Richard is part of the San Diego angel investment community, having participated in several San Diego Angel Conferences (SDAC), and has made several other individual investments.
