Catalyst is a 10-week program that will provide a comprehensive education for life science, medtech, and technology entrepreneurs. The program will give entrepreneurs the tools they need to successfully launch or scale their companies in these industries by providing connections to industry experts, mentors, vendors, and investors.

  • Education and training in a structured curriculum.

  • Increased visibility for startup companies and increased credibility for professional development.
  • Aspiring entrepreneurs:  individuals with an early-stage idea, product or service looking to start a business; or those seeking to understand entrepreneurial ecosystem to work for a startup company.
  • Early-stage entrepreneurs:  founders and key team members who have started a company and are in the early stages of product development and/or revenue generation. Typically, those who are in the process of raising Pre-seed, Seed, or Series A rounds, seeking to further develop their business and funding strategies.
  • Program managers and business leaders:  individuals and teams seeking to understand the processes for early-stage technology development and commercialization. 
  • Startup ecosystem stakeholders:  anyone interested in getting to know more about best practices, challenges, and develop solutions for the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The program runs for 10-weeks and consists of interactive lectures, group sessions, workshops, and one-on-one mentorship.

Participants are strongly encouraged to attend in-person to benefit the most from interactive lectures and group sessions. However, seminars will also be available virtually.

2024 Cohort 1: April 01- June 07, 2024. Lectures will be during the weekends and/or evenings.

2024 Cohort 2: June 10 - August 16, 2024. Lectures will be during the weekdays.



  • Week 1: Industry Introduction, Value Proposition, and Product Development
  • Week 2: Product Design, Prototyping, and Development
  • Week 3: Intellectual Property Strategy and Protection
  • Week 4: Regulatory Strategy and Approval Process and Reimbursement Strategy
  • Week 5: Clinical Trials and Data Analysis
  • Week 6: Quality Management Systems, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management
  • Week 7: Business Models, Marketing and Sales, and Commercialization Strategies
  • Week 8: Fundraising, Financial Strategies, and Scaling and Growth
  • Week 9: Leadership, Company Culture, DE&I, and the Entrepreneurial Experiences
  • Week 10: Final Presentations and Pitch Day

The cost for the program is $10,000 per company (the CEO and a key team member). Price also includes membership, access to coworking lab and office space throughout the duration of the program, and pitch deck mentorship.

Limited scholarships available.

Upon completion of the program, participants have the opportunity to showcase their company during the pitch day. Opportunity to network with other startups, industry experts, and investors.
